Boruto is a popular anime series created as a sequel to Naruto. Its plot was written by Kishimoto’s former assistant Ukyo Kodachi, and it features a number of characters from the original series.
With the upcoming time-skip part of the manga already generating excitement, a popular series leaker on Twitter leaked the cover of Shueisha’s V Jump October issue. This revealed a new design for the series protagonist.
1. Boruto Uzumaki
Boruto is the son of Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuga and he has a younger sister named Himawari. He inherited a powerful life force that allowed him to become a chunin-level ninja very quickly. As the direct descendant of a Hyuga, he also has a strong ability to use the Rasengan.
He is a very energetic and loud boy, much like his father, but he tries to be his own person. He loves his little sister and wants to please her. He also has Sasuke’s desire to use shortcuts to get what he wants. He is a great role model for his friends. He is able to create strategies with his allies during battles. He is very cunning and can use his knowledge of other shinobi’s abilities to his advantage.
2. Sasuke Uchiha
The last surviving member of the Uchiha clan, Sasuke is a powerful ninja who possesses the Sharingan—a technique that grants enhanced perception and genjutsu powers. He is the older brother of Itachi Uchiha, who massacred their entire family, and he is haunted by his past.
He has a bad attitude and a superiority complex, but he is an extremely skilled ninja, and he will fight until his enemies are dead. Critics have appreciated his fight scenes and his teamwork with Naruto.
He is also a great father and husband, and his relationship with Sakura is very strong. In the Boruto anime series, his interaction with his daughter drew positive reactions from critics. He is also a hero to the people of Konoha.
3. Sarada Uchiha
The daughter of Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno, Sarada is an incredibly powerful character in Boruto. She seeks to become the next Hokage in her village and is a member of the same team as Boruto.
Despite her reserved nature and desire to avoid her father, Sarada is an incredible fighter. She inherited a lot of her skills from Sasuke, including his eyes and ability to pack a punch. She is also left-handed, unlike most of the characters in Naruto.
Although she had trouble with her father at first, Sarada comes to respect him as he does so much for the Hidden Leaf Village. She is probably one of the strongest members in her generation and has already mastered a variety of jutsu. Fans can expect her to awaken the Mangekyo Sharingan soon.
4. Hinata Hyuga
Hinata is the daughter of the Hyuga clan and was expected to be their heir. But due to her lack of skill as compared to her cousin Neji, she was disowned by the clan and left with the Kurenai family, who became her sensei.
After the Chunin exam, Hinata has improved immensely and is now a capable Shinobi. She possesses many Jutsu and fighting styles under her belt. She has a strong crush on Naruto, who is unaware of her feelings for him.
Her defining ability is her Byakugan which allows her to see in the distance and through objects. Despite her low self-esteem, Hinata has the strength to never give up. This determination was inspired by Naruto who she witnessed fighting with all his might in the Chunin exams.
5. Kawaki Uzumaki
Kawaki is a genin who was raised by Kara to be the future vessel for Isshiki Otsutsuki and key to the fulfilment of their greatest wish. He was brought to Konohagakure and adopted by Naruto, and he became close with the rest of Team 7.
He had an unusual seal on his chest that spread out into the left side of his body as he used his Chakra Mode. He also had a prosthetic arm which could be powered by his chakra.
He didn’t get along with Boruto at first, but he eventually came to respect him. He even went on a stamp hunt with him at the hot spring inn, despite losing to him on ping-pong. He is a strong man, and he also loves his family very much.
